Meet Happy – the name says it all!
Happy is playful, affectionate, mischievous and the ultimate smoocher. He is equally content playing with his toys and fur-brothers, exploring the backyard, lying at your feet, or curled up next to you on the couch.
He is in typical puppy stage - plays with everything, chases everything and wants to chew everything - then crashes out hard!
Thankfully he responds very well to a firm ‘no’ and doesn’t persist in the destruction/exploration. He will comfortably spend time in his crate and recognises it as ‘his space’ - however doesn’t like being kept in there alone overnight - this is a WIP. His toilet training is still also a WIP - occasional accidents, but he is doing well overall. Since he’s still young and very new to routine and ‘home life’, he’ll do best with continued guidance and praise.
Happy is not a gobbler - takes his time to eat and loves tasty treats like banana, fresh beans and frozen strawberries. He has also just discovered he likes frozen veges mixed in with this puppy kibble!
Happy will thrive as an inside/outside dog with a furry sibling and lots of toys - and do best in a home where his hoomans work from home or have short work hours. He can self‑entertain to a point - but he does love knowing you’re not far away.
Happy $400 + $100 desex bond* to adopt and comes microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
*Desex bond will be refunded once pup is desexed at one of our nominated vets at the appropriate age. It is a non-negotiable conditions of adoption that pups are desexed prior to 8 months of age, unless otherwise approved by NQAR. The cost of desexing is included in the adoption fee, as long as it is done at one of our nominated vets.
