Meet Leo!

At just over a year old this boy was surrendered into our care through no fault of his own and is finally ready to find his forever home!

At just over a year old Leo is still young and learning his way around this world and is looking for a family who is willing to be patient with him whilst he learns the ropes.

Leo is an absolute sweetheart who relies heavily on his human companions to help with his confidence, because of this, Leo would need to go home with a family who is home more often than not.

We have also found that Leo has a preference for female companions but can still build strong connections with males with some time and patience.

Whilst in our care Leo has shown some reactiveness towards other dogs here in the shelter, and would need to be the only dog in the household with a focus on ignoring other dogs.

Leo spent some much needed time away from the shelter in a foster home and heres what they had to say about him:

"Happy little boy who loves attention, toys, treats and playtime with his rubber ball. Likes to run on the leash or a quick walk. Will pull if he sees something in the distance. Loves running around especially along our fence line wanting to interact with everyone walking past. Very quiet with an almost non-existent bark. Eats well. Give him time to adjust and he'll be yours forever."
