About Venus
That stunning smokey colouring is one of the many adorable characteristics that are part of Venus. This sweet natured girl is learning to slowly build her confidence after being abandoned alongside her littermates in a council pound overnight kennel.
Curious in character, Venus is loving being able to learn that there are so many things in the world around her. Exposing her to various other animals including all sizes of dogs, starting her foundational training such as recall, leash skills and crate training whilst also exposing her to not only livestock but various poultry and cats.
Venus is going to need a patient and calm natured owner, her underexposed background means that it may take a little extra to get her confidence to build up. She does show a potential to have some sport drive as she is focused on her handler when bonded.
Venus could easily share her home with another dog as she does love companionship and play time. However she may suit being a solo dog for a home that's around a little more often than not.
Being shy in nature, we would recommend a home without young kids under the age of 10.
Her new home will be interactive on her ongoing socialisation and training and allow her to sleep inside at night as well.
Located in the lower hunter valley, Venus is ready to start meeting her new family now. She is around 5/6 months in age and an apparent mix of Shepherd/ Husky and staffy.
