About Mochi
🐾 Meet Mochi – Your Zoomie Specialist! 🌙⚡
📍 Fostered in Rouse Hill
🐾 Microchip: 991003003084988
🎂 Age: 1 year
🐱 Male – Black & Grey Tabby (Domestic Short Hair)
Introducing Mochi – the sweet, stripey shadow who’ll steal your heart (and possibly your pillow). He started off shy but now? He’s claiming beds, zooming through tunnels, and accepting full-body scritches like the prince he truly is.
He’s got a soft spot for scratches, a strong attachment to under-bed hideouts, and a firm belief that nighttime is prime time for turbo mode. Expect late-night laps of the house with bonus somersaults and tunnel sprints. Mochi-style.
This boy has serious cuddle potential – sleeping on your bed all night and weaving between your legs during the day to remind you that yes, he is the best boy.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
