About Paddy
Meet Paddy, an adorable 3-year-old Chihuahua with plenty of personality to win your heart. Though tiny in stature, Paddy's presence in your home is sure to be significant. This little guy needs a new family to provide some guidance and plenty of love, and in return, he'll offer companionship with charm in spades.
Paddy loves meeting new people and thrives on affection. He's a big fan of pats and enjoys the occasional treat, as he finds comfort in human companionship. Paddy can be somewhat of a stimulus barker, but in the right environment with the proper training, he has the potential to be a wonderful companion. Paddy needs help with lead walking, as he grapples with some fear, and you’ll need to be mindful and careful with food, as he can be food aggressive around other dogs.
When it comes to other animals, Paddy can be a little wary. He may bark at other dogs if he feels intimidated, opting for submission with larger or more assertive dogs. Although he seems scared of cats, with time and gentle exposure, he could become more comfortable.
For a household without small children, Paddy can thrive, where he will flourish in a calm, patient environment that offers stability and companionship. He's a little hesitant on his independent outings but becomes quite outgoing when settled and comfortable. With understanding, nurturing, and patience, Paddy will make strides in overcoming his separation anxiety, barking less with practice and confidence.
This charming little Chihuahua would be a devoted companion for a household eager to invest time and patience into his training and integration. His quirky and endearing personality will undoubtedly bring joy and laughter. Adopt Paddy, and experience the heartwarming rewards of a loyal friend in this lovable, pint-sized pup.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
