Marley

Marley is a sweet, friendly, and affectionate dog who’s looking for his forever home. He bonds deeply with his humans and adjusts quickly to new environments, making him a wonderful companion whether you live in a house or an apartment.

Marley will need to be the only pet in the home, as he’s not too fond of sharing his space with other animals. But don’t worry—he’s got more than enough love to give on his own! He’s very vocal, especially when playing, and his playful barks are just part of his fun-loving personality.

He enjoys going on walks, although he’s currently undergoing training to help manage his reactivity towards other dogs. With consistent support, he’s already making progress and learning to enjoy his outdoor time more peacefully. Therefore it would be more suited for Marley to go to an adopter with previous experience with dogs and who is willing to commit to ongoing training with him in this area. Car rides are a bit of a mixed bag for Marley—he can get nervous at first, but once the car is moving, he usually settles down and naps peacefully.

At home, Marley loves his personal space and is quite independent. He’s happy to entertain himself with toys and is perfectly content being left alone for 8 to 9 hours—he’ll just snooze, explore, and relax until you’re back.
