About Cairo
Cairo – Domestic Short Hair (Tortie Female)
Playful, chatty, and full of tortie-tude
Cairo has truly come out of her shell and is ready to show the world her confident, cheeky personality! She’s a playful and curious little soul who loves to explore and chase toys—and when she’s in the mood, she lives for a good head rub (cue the loud purrs!).
She’s still not a fan of being picked up and would much rather hang out on her own terms—but she’s come such a long way from her shy beginnings, and we know she’ll keep growing in the right home.
Cairo is currently living with her sister Clover, and they get along beautifully. While they don’t have to be adopted together, they make a lovely little duo and bring out the best in each other—so adopting both would be a bonus for anyone looking for a ready-made pair.
Cairo is fully litter trained, loves her meals, and will thrive in a calm, patient home that understands it might take a little time to win her heart—but when you do, it’ll be so worth it!!

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
