About Ziggy
Meet Ziggy - Retired International Feline Spy & Full-Time Crossword Enthusiast
Age: 7 years
Breed: Ginger and white domestic shorthair
Personality: Worldly, wise, and wonderfully whiskered
After years of valiantly defending humanity from the sinister Foot Clan of mice (you're welcome, Earth), Ziggy is hanging up his spy gear and trading in high-speed rooftop chases for a quiet life filled with sunshine and sudokus.
This seasoned gentleman is now on the lookout for his forever retirement home - preferably one with a sunny window, a sturdy whicker chair, and a subscription to the Bendigo Advertiser. Ziggy enjoys starting his mornings with a cup of warm milk and a challenging crossword. He's not above asking for help with 8 down, and he deeply appreciates the occasional gentle pat when the Sudoku gets a little too... puzzling.
Ziggy would thrive in a calm, single-pet household where he can enjoy his golden years in peace. Older kids who understand the art of a good head scratch and can assist with particularly cryptic clues are most welcome.
He's more into birdwatching than bird-chasing these days, and he promises to keep all espionage activities to his dreams. What Ziggy needs now is a cozy corner, a loving companion or two, and a home that understands the needs of a retired hero.
Could your home be Ziggy's safe house? Apply now to adopt this brave soul and earn a lifetime of loyalty, charm, and subtle judgment from the windowsill.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
