About Frankie
AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
Frankie | 9 Month | Female | Siberian Husky
Located Melbourne
Meet Frankie Girl with a Heart Full of Love and Zoomies to Spare!
Looking for a loyal, playful, and loving new best friend?
Meet Frankie, a beautiful 9 month-old Siberian Husky who’s bursting with affection, personality, and that signature husky sass!
Frankie is currently thriving in foster care, where she lives with two doggy siblings and two human siblings. She’s especially smitten with her foster dad and loves nothing more than snuggling up with her people after a fun day of play. She’s sweet, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to the ones she loves.
Social & Playful
Frankie is a social butterfly with other dogs, especially smaller breeds. While she can be a little anxious meeting new pups at first, she does best with slow, calm introductions — give her a bit of time, and soon she’ll be zooming around like they’ve been besties forever.
She’s blossoming more every day in foster care, growing in confidence and letting her goofy, playful side shine. She’s full of energy and always ready for an adventure — whether that’s chasing zoomies in the backyard or being the ultimate cheerleader at her human siblings’ sports games. Frankie loves going out and about and makes friends wherever she goes!
Smart & Trainable
As a young husky, Frankie has that classic independent streak, but she’s also intelligent, food-motivated, and loves learning. She already knows her basic manners — sit, drop, and wait — and is fully house trained with excellent doggy door skills. She’s doing great but will thrive with a family committed to ongoing training, particularly around loose-lead walking and resource guarding with high-value items.
Frankie’s Ideal Home:
* Older primary-aged kids or teens (she can get a little jumpy when excited)
* A friendly, playful resident dog (bonus points if they love zoomies too!)
* A secure yard
* A family familiar with or willing to learn about the husky breed
* A commitment to positive reinforcement training and building confidence
Frankie is full of potential and ready to keep growing with the right family. She’s loyal, sweet, and guaranteed to bring joy, laughter, and love to her forever home.
