About Myrtle
Meet Myrtle, the charming Tortoiseshell and Tabby mix with an endearing touch of shyness. While she might initially be a bit reserved, Myrtle's cautious nature quickly gives way to a gentle warmth that will melt your heart.
Myrtle loves the quiet presence of her human companions, making her the ideal feline friend for anyone who enjoys quality time at home. You'll often find her snoozing nearby, content in the knowledge that she is close to those she trusts. Her playful antics are delightfully vague and unpredictable, adding an element of surprise to her charming personality.
While her shyness may take a bit of patience, the bond formed with Myrtle is truly rewarding. With her around, you can expect cozy evenings, soothing purrs, and the unique companionship only a gentle kitty like Myrtle can provide. If you appreciate a furry friend with subtle charm and character, Myrtle is sure to fit right into your heart and home.
The information provided about the dogs in our care is based on our experiences at our facility. We have not assessed them with small children or other pets, and we are unaware of their basic obedience or leash skills. It's important to note that dogs from an unknown background may lack environmental exposure or socialisation. They may also lack basic manners, obedience, or even knowledge of their given name. We ask that you remain open-minded and provide them with a loving home, training, and guidance to become a loving family pet.

Adoption details
Please do not apply to adopt via our animals' PetRescue profile.
Follow the links below to be directed to the Wollongong City Council website, and find your preferred animal's online profile.
Once in the online profile, scroll down and click the link to complete an adoption application. Once received, a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your application and suitability for your preferred animal.
If we deem the animal to be suitable for your home and lifestyle, an in-person meet and greet may be organised. Should your meet and greet be a success, you can take your new furry friend home that day or following their desexing surgery. Our team will manage all your animal's paperwork, including ownership and vaccination documentation.
