Hi, I'm Maple. As you can see, I am a unique kitten with two different coloured eyes. I found myself in foster care after having eaten something I shouldn't have. I'm all healed from the surgery now and looking for my forever family!

My Foster Mum would describe me as super affectionate on my terms and very inquisitive. I love cuddles and smooches but sometimes when playing with my foster family, I can get a little carried away and accidentally give a little nip or scratch. I just have so much love to give and I'm still learning my kitten manners. I have definitely come a long way in just a few short weeks and will improve even more with patience.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I have had some exposure to small children but would get along better with older children, teens or adults. I think I would settle in okay in a home with children, however they would need to be confident with energetic kittens and be okay with the occasional nip or scratch. I just get carried away sometimes and forget that I can give a little too much love!

There are two resident cats and one kitten in my foster home, but I'm probably a little too playful for the adult cats. I often push my boundaries with the resident kitten, but otherwise we get along fine otherwise.

I have not been tested with dogs.

Likes / Dislikes
I love to climb, play, pounce and explore.

When it's feeding time, you'll find me at your feet purring away. I love food in general but generally prefer wet food over biscuits.
The vacuum cleaner scares me and I'm not particularly fond of the sounds the washing machine makes either.

My PURR-fect home would be with an adult or two to shower me with attention. I love human interaction and will definitely need a calm and patient adult around to lead by example as I polish up on my kitten etiquette. I don't think I could cope in a home where I am all alone for most of the day. Particularly while I adjust to new surroundings.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Maple’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment

Medical Notes: Maple has been diagnosed with a grade 1-2 heart murmur (an abnormal sound in the heart). Heart murmurs are graded between 1 and 6 with 6 being the worst. Maple’s murmur currently is not causing issues and she is not symptomatic so does not require treatment. Heart murmurs can worsen with time so Maple will need to have her heart murmur checked at their annual health check.
