Hey hey, my name is Inez and you wouldn’t believe how stunning I am, I mean look at my nose, it looks like a love heart!

Nature
Let me be straight with you: the thing about me is that I am a 'cats only' kind of cat; I prefer the company of other cats to people. I don’t entirely trust humans; I only trust that they bring me food on time.

I have a VERY expressive tail, one that moves like a snake. If I am happy, it moves fluidly; if I am chill, it still moves. I am a confident girl, but if you get too close to me, I will run away. Let me approach you.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
As confident as I am in myself, I don’t trust humans, so I would prefer to have a home with older kids, like teens or a more mature household – one that respects my personal space and boundaries.

I would love to have a super friendly and confident feline friend who will show me how to be chilled, show me that it is okay, and who wants to play.

Likes / Dislikes
I love food, so much so that I will sit in my foster mum's kitchen while she's having dinner, hoping she shares some with me.

I may not have many teeth left for a young gal, but I do have enough left for crunching on some bikkies. I have a weird obsession when my foster mum fills up the water fountain, I need to play with the jug afterwards – don’t ask me why I like it, I just do. Don’t get me started on smelling your shoes too.

I do like the warmest spots to sleep, even if that means snuggling up on a blanket, invading the personal space of the fellow kitties here, or on the windowsill in the afternoon. When I am not sleeping and eating, I am playing and have a bit of energy. I love to play, but with the other fosters, tumbling and wrestling, with soft toys. I can be easily entertained.

I'm not keen on being touched, at all. I know my coat is all shiny and glossy, but I do not like it getting all messed up. But actually, if you do touch me, I will give you a heads up that it's not ok. I know you're not a threat, but to me, you still could be.

My PURR-fect home would be with someone that understands I may never be a lap cat or a friendly feline wanting your affection. I want somewhere that will make me feel loved by not smothering me, and we can cohabitate and live harmoniously together. I would love it if my new family had a super confident cat who could show me that loving and trusting humans is okay.

*Inez's adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Inez had a dental procedure in February 2025 which included the removal of 12 teeth. She has mild gingivitis around her remaining teeth. Both of her upper canines are chipped however there is no pulp exposure so these do not need extracting at this stage.
