Meet Monika – from feisty to inquisitive house cat.

Nature
Monika has come such a long way since her days as a sassy little firecracker! Once quick to let you know she needed her space, she has blossomed into a quiet and inquisitive companion. She loves to observe her surroundings and has learnt that humans aren’t so bad - especially when they respect her boundaries.

Monika may have perfected the art of the grumpy face, but don’t let her look fool you - underneath all that tortitude is a playful, curious girl with a soft side. She just likes to keep up appearances! After all, being a tortie means never letting the humans think they’re in charge!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Another feline friend is a must! Monika absolutely adores the company of other cats and gains confidence from having a buddy by her side. She loves a good game of chasey with her friends, zooming around the house before settling in for a cosy nap. A home with a playful, friendly kitty would be the perfect fit for her.

Monika hasn’t been around children or dogs, so a home without them would probably be best!

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Playing chase with her cat friends, watching the world from a cosy spot, exploring on her terms, and curling up on the bed at night.

❌ Sudden movements, loud noises, and being rushed into affection (she’ll come to you when she’s ready!).

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet and loving home with at least one other cat to keep me company. I need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time, but once you earn it, I will be a loyal and loving companion. If you’re looking for a sweet and playful girl with just the right amount of sass, I might be your perfect match!

*Monika’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Monika came to us with a limp, xrays showed she has diastasis, where the joints in the pelvis are disrupted or separated. This may restrict her jumping. She may be more prone to arthritis in future. Due to this injury, she’ll need to be inside only, although access to a fully enclosed shaded cat run would be acceptable.
