About Alfie
Meet Alfie, a charming 3-year-old Chihuahua with a heart as big as his personality. While he might be small in stature, Alfie's energy and spirit are undeniable. This little guy is a bundle of curiosity and companionship, always eager to be part of the action. He may be a bit of a stimulus barker, but with a little patience and understanding, you'll soon find that his vocal enthusiasm is just his way of joining in on the conversation.
Though Alfie can be a little timid initially, once he gets to know you, he becomes a loyal friend who's eager to please. His favorite activities include jumping up for treats and enjoying affectionate pats. To give him the encouragement to embrace his day, Alfie appreciates a gentle reminder to put his paws outside; he walks well with some positive encouragement and is known to be good company for other small breed dogs.
Though he might shy away from cats, Alfie's ideal home would welcome his friendly demeanor and sense of fun. If you're looking for a pint-sized pup with a zest for life, Alfie would love nothing more than to meet you and show you what a delightful companion he can be.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
