About Bindi
Meet Bindi, a charming 4-year-old Chihuahua with a heart as big as her personality. Initially shy, Bindi may exhibit some fear-based aggression when meeting new people, but beneath that initial exterior is a loving soul waiting to embrace those who earn her trust. Once she feels secure, Bindi transforms into a truly affectionate companion that will brighten your days with her love and devotion.
Bindi may be small, but her heart is mighty, and she adores being the center of attention. She's great with some other small breed dogs but not all, and she will eagerly jump up for pats, rewarding you with her delightful antics. Her endearing nature and love for treats make every interaction with her even more special. At the sound of her favorite treats being offered, she'll come running with her excellent recall when at her home, her recall out of home is not so good, and walk beautifully on the lead. Bindi is definitely not good with cats.
While Bindi can be a stimulus barker and reacts cautiously to new situations, she can adapt beautifully with patience and understanding. She's a fun-loving spirit who enjoys daily walks and will stick by your side like a little shadow.
Bindi's perfect home is one that appreciates her charming quirks and provides her with the patience and gentle guidance she needs to flourish. Embrace the challenge of earning this little love's trust, and you'll be rewarded with a faithful friend who loves unconditionally and will be your constant companion.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
