Lochy is looking for a calm and quiet, child-free home with someone who understands that not all dogs enjoy being picked up or handled much, he will need his space in his new home whilst he gets settled in. He prefers to be in control of how he interacts, but once he's comfortable, he'll happily jump up for cuddles, offer his paw for pats, and stick close by your side.

He's seeks attention, is cheeky, to the people he's bonded with. Poodle experience is helpful, but not essential, what matters most is a gentle, respectful approach, a big heart and patience.

Lochy may also enjoy having a friendly doggy companion to show him the ropes. He's been quite social with other dogs here at the shelter, and a confident buddy could help him settle into home life even more smoothly.
