About Ryder
Ryder is a loving and playful boy who thrives on affection. He's also quite intelligent-he adores puzzle games and learning new tricks, especially when there's a tasty treat involved.
He's part Australian Cattle Dog and part Dingo, which means he's switched on, loves to explore, and thrives when he has something to do-whether it's working out a puzzle toy, playing with his favourite toys, or heading out for a walk.
As he grows, Ryder will need plenty of both mental stimulation and physical exercise to keep him happy, healthy, and well-balanced. He's not a couch potato-he's a curious, active young dog who does best when he has a job to do and regular enrichment to keep that sharp little brain ticking.
Ryder will require someone with experience in working breeds, and ideally someone who understands dingo behaviour and the unique needs that come with it. He'll need an extremely secure yard, some patience while settling in, and plenty of structured activities to help him feel secure and settled when on his own.
He could live with another well-matched dog-especially one who's confident and tolerant. Ryder would benefit from a steady canine role model and some company during the day. With the right support, Ryder has all the potential to grow into a loyal, loving, and deeply rewarding companion.
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
