Meet Muffin, a 7 month old Daschund cross.
Muffin has come into care from Mt Isa and is looking for a family to call her own.
Muffin is a small gal only 5kg, and absolutely loves snuggles.
Muffin walks well on a lead and is getting better and better at recall. She is food crazy which makes training much easier.
Muffin is bursting with love and excitement, and loves to play with her sister and her foster siblings. She loves kids and wants to make friends with everyone she meets. When she isnt exploring or playing, she is fairly chilled and likes to have a chew on a toy or bone and cuddle her favourite people.
Muffin does have a few things she will need to work on to be a very good girl. Muffin likes other dogs, but can be a little scared when they are bigger than her, so slow introductions are recommended.
Muffin also has a strong prey drive. A home with no small animals is a must. She hasn't had many experiences before coming into care so she can get a little nervous at times.
Muffin is also very, very curious, and being so small she has managed to get herself into some strange places, including the dog food bin, inside a box of bird food, on the kitchen counter and under anything she can fit.
Muffin is mischievous and loves to explore. She would do best in a home with another dog for company.
With lots of love and a little work she will be the perfect companion.
Muffin $350 to adopt and comes microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
