Hi everyone, my name is Glinda, and I am the softest, most gentle kitty you will ever meet.

Nature
I can appear shy at first; however, with some time, patience, play, and lots of treats, I will warm up in no time. I enjoy lap cuddles, making biscuits on you, snuggling beside you, pats, and playing with wand toys.

Despite my shy and reserved nature, I am a very affectionate girl who prefers interaction on my own terms (trust me, I’m extremely smoochy when I want to be!), and I can be the perfect addition to a quiet indoor home.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be best suited to a quieter home with older children, or younger children who understand my quiet nature and need for space.

I am an absolute cat’s cat! I love snuggling, cuddling, and bonding with other cats. I have lived with several cats and find comfort in having them around. I could be a great friend to your existing cat, with slow introductions.

I have also lived with a small dog and got along with them very well. I could potentially live with cat-savvy dogs who can let me live peacefully.

Likes / Dislikes
I am heavily food motivated and love all food and treats. I’m not too fussy when it comes to what food I like.

I also love playtime, particularly with wand toys. Playing with me is the way to my heart and helps me build confidence.

I love pats, but only on my own terms. I will come up to you to let you know when I want cuddles, and it’s more often than you think! I may even sit on your lap if you happen to be relaxing on the couch. I also absolutely love other cats!

I am extra sensitive to loud noises and sudden, fast movements, so outdoor life is not suitable for me. I don’t like being picked up, chased, or randomly approached when I don’t want cuddles. I enjoy living life on my own terms and prefer to be left alone unless I approach you first.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet, indoor-only home (or one with a secure cat run installed), with humans who understand my quiet nature and will be patient as I learn to trust you. I would love humans who will play with me occasionally and cuddle me when I ask; other than that, I’m happy to be left alone to do my own thing! I would also love a home with another cat who can be my furrrever kitty companion.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

*Glinda’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Glinda suffers from blepharitis in her left eye (inflammation of the eyelid margins) causing a weepy eye and brown discharge. This does not bother her but may require treatment intermittently of anti-inflammatories and antibiotic eye drops.

Glinda had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. She was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
