About Hen
Introducing Hen, the most delicious dark chocolate snack, who is ready to be under a blanket, snoozing her way into your heart.
How a sweety like Hen ended up as a stray we may never know, this girl loves people, she is gentle, even the in the pound her disposition was described as "love bug". She's great with other dogs, and would LOVE a home with another doggy best pal. While she loves people and dogs, she's not a fan of cats.
She's gentle and good with kids. She really is just all round a great dog, who would love a family where she is part of the action and a beloved member of the clan. She has her basic obedience down, and has proven to be a smart girl who will thrive with continued support.
Hens adoption fee includes:
- Desexing
- Microchipping
- Worm/Flea Treatment
- A lifetime subscription of cuddles
Hen is living in Mount Waverley with her foster carer, so shoot us a message if you'd like to meet her!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
