About Ellie
Hi I’m Ellie and I’m looking for my new humans, they will need to have time, patience and guidance to help me reach my full potential.
Due to my past I can be cautious of the world at times and will need you to guide me through. I have built trust with my foster mum which took a while and now she’s teaching me that not all humans are bad.
While I can be uncertain of new people I’m getting better each time I go out and about with my foster human, she says with time and more exposure I’ll only get better and less scared.
I would really love a family with a calm well-mannered dog who could teach me the ropes. My current foster siblings have taught me a lot especially how to play and be a dog.
As I said, I love to play with the other dogs and cats in my foster home I often steal the toys and instigating play.
Once you have gained my trust I will continue to look to you for guidance. My foster human says I will need further training but I think I’m pretty good already. I’ll do anything for food once I know you’re not going to hurt me.
It may take me a few days for to come out of my shell and to start trusting you. I tend to keep my distance from new people to start with until I get used to you.
I am currently sleeping in a crate at night and use this as my safe place in uncertain times.
I’m a really sweet girl when you get to know me, I’m even becoming curious of the small humans that come to visit.
I’m really looking for some special humans to help me reach my full potential, even if it takes a bit of time.
I love getting out and about exploring new places, going for sniffy walks, I do get a bit car sick too sorry but my human says I’m getting better with each trip out.
If you have the time, love and guidance I’m going to need please chat to my human, she can explain what she has been doing to help me and hopefully I meet my new family soon.
Love Ellie Xx
