About Chad
Chad is a delightful and cheerful young pup who is sure to bring joy and laughter to any home he joins. Chad is a 14 kilo Wolfhound x with a beautiful temperament and great future in front of him. With his loveable goofy affectionate personality .
If you’re on the lookout for a happy-go-lucky, easygoing companion, then Chad is the perfect little fella for you. With a beautiful and gentle personality that radiates happiness, Chad is sure to win your heart.
Favorite Activities:
Chad absolutely adores going for walks and enjoys playing with other dogs. He is a social butterfly who thrives on interaction and companionship. Human affection is something he cherishes deeply, and he loves receiving pats and cuddles from his human friends.
Interaction with Humans: Chad is a people-loving pup who enjoys the company of humans and is eager to greet everyone he meets. He is known for his affectionate nature and loves to give licky kisses. Being a young and slightly goofy pup, Chad might jump a little in excitement, but it’s never excessive, and he is quick to sit down for some loving pats.
Obedience and Training: As a young pup, Chad is still in the process of learning new skills, and it is crucial for his future family to continue his training journey. We highly recommend enrolling him in group obedience classes, which are particularly beneficial for young pups. Chad already knows how to sit, especially when there’s a tasty treat involved. He is also working on commands like “drop,” “mat,” and “recall,” and he is eager to learn and please.
Animal Social Skills: Chad is a confident and social boy for his age, currently living with four other dogs. He loves to play, so a playmate who can match his puppy energy would be ideal. As he will grow to be on the larger side, a medium to large-sized dog would be a great fit for him. Chad interacts well with all the dogs and has not shown any signs of aggression.
Independence: Chad is quite content to spend the day outside with his friends. He is happy both indoors and outdoors, although he does occasionally get into a bit of puppy mischief, like sneaking off with things he shouldn’t.
Diet: Chad is currently fed high-quality puppy food, and we suggest continuing this diet until he is around 14-16 months old, given that he is a large breed. Proper nutrition is important for his growth and development.
Hygiene: Chad has a scruffy coat that is easy to care for. He enjoys being brushed and did well during his bath. He is about 90% toilet trained and does well when taken out regularly, although he still has the occasional accident indoors.
Sleeping Habits: Chad is flexible with his sleeping arrangements and is happy to sleep either inside or outside. He sleeps well through the night without any issues.
Car Travel: Chad loves car rides, especially trips to the park. He is very settled and calm in the car, making travel a breeze
. Exercise Needs: Chad requires daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy. He is doing well off-leash at enclosed ovals, where he can run and play freely.
Behavior Inside the Home: Chad is well-behaved indoors, although he occasionally likes to see what he can sneak off the kitchen bench, which adds a bit of humor to his antics. He is relaxed and enjoys lying on his mat or receiving a tummy rub while lounging on your lap.
Medical Information: Chad has had his baby teeth removed, is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been vet-checked to ensure he is in good health.
Ideal Home: Chad would thrive in a home with a bit of a yard, so apartments or units are not suitable for him. A friendly female dog of similar size who can tolerate his puppy antics and play would be a great companion for Chad, although he would also do well as an only dog. His ideal family would be committed to ongoing training and have experience with larger breeds. Children over the age of five who have been around dogs before would be a good match for Chad’s playful and loving nature.
