A super-sweet ginger girl, Magnet is named for her loyal and adoring nature! She’s always the first to jump on your lap for a cuddle - but she's also playful and independent, getting up to mischief on the daily with her sister Paintbrush and spending plenty of time snoozing in the sun :)
With her gorgeous, fluffy mane and eyes that stare into your soul, not to mention her gentle personality, Magnet will be a great fit for pretty much any type of cat-loving household - especially if you're looking to adopt the purrfect pair! Rescued as a baby with her four littermates, Magnet is well-adjusted to indoor life, and we think she'd get along well with other friendly pets in the home. She can't wait to meet you and steal your heart!
Like all Maggie's pets, Magnet is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I just want to love and be loved! Any type of devoted home should suit me down to the ground, whether you're a single person, a couple or a big family. I'm clever and confident, so even if you're new to cats I think we'd be very happy together!
I'm adaptable to the hustle and bustle of a busy household, currently residing with my best friend and sister, Paintbrush, and two other resident adult cats. I've met kids, and many friendly visitors, and I just love to play and explore!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Sky-high! I enjoy creating (adorable) chaos in short bursts, with lots of napping in between. Another active cat in the home will help keep me happy, healthy and entertained, but in the absence of that I'll definitely need multiple dedicated play and cuddle sessions with you every day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Anyone who's keen to be my playmate while being kind and respectful gets my lick of approval!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm obsessed with other cats, and I always assume they love me too! - so if you have a pet who'd prefer to be left alone, I might not be the kitty you're looking for. I understand clear boundaries and don't play rough with the adult cats in my foster home, but I do like to sniff them and race around like a hoon.
Though I haven't met any dogs yet, I'm up for it if yours are!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
