Pea is a beautiful little kitten with the softest fur and the gentlest heart, currently working hard on the scariest job a kitten can have – learning to trust humans.

When Pea first arrived in foster care, they were frightened and hidey but in time Pea purred for the very first time! She’s still learning that humans aren’t scary, but she’s making small steps every day!

Pea needs a very special home: one that is calm, patient, and understands that healing can take time. A home where someone is around most of the day, where there are cozy hidey holes, gentle routines, and no pressure to be “ready” before they are. They may one day become a snuggly lap cat, or they may always prefer to be admired from afar – either way, Pea deserves love on their own terms.
