About Scarlett
🌹 Meet Scarlett – A Loving Mum Cat with a Heart of Gold 🌹
Scarlett’s story is one of warmth, love, and true friendship! Once a stray, this stunning kitty began visiting a kind-hearted foster carer for feeds, and they soon realised she was carrying a surprise – a litter of kittens! Brought into our rescue’s care, Scarlett welcomed her babies into the world – three adorable ginger boys and one little tortoiseshell girl. Sadly, the baby girl passed at three weeks, but her brothers have since found loving homes, and now it’s Scarlett’s turn to find her forever family!
🌟 Scarlett’s Special Story:
Mum Magic: Scarlett instantly bonded with another expectant mum, Rose. These two super-mums supported each other, taking turns with their litters and trading “mum breaks.” Scarlett even helped clean and feed Rose’s babies as if they were her own!
Gentle & Loving: When Scarlett arrived, she took a liking to “Papa” Carlos, an older street cat, and she’s equally friendly with new cat and dog mates.
The Quiet Companion: Scarlett rarely meows – she’s the ultimate quiet, gentle cat who adores a good tail scratch and loves affection.
Best Mates Forever: In a perfect world, Scarlett and her best mate Rose would love to spend their “retirement” days together in a warm, loving home.
If you’re ready to give Scarlett the life she deserves – filled with comfort, companionship, and endless love – please get in touch. This special mum has given so much to those around her, and she’s ready for her own happily-ever-after! 🏡

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
