About Squeak
Meet Squeak – Sweet, Smart, and Ready to Shine!
Currently in foster care with a loving family, Squeak is a bright, affectionate young girl who is ready to find her special someone. With her gentle nature and eagerness to please, she will be a wonderful addition to the right home.
About Squeak: Squeak is a cuddly companion who loves the company of her humans and her doggy friends. She can happily entertain herself outdoors with a playmate and is just as content curling up for cuddles after a day of fun.
When meeting new people, Squeak is friendly, eager to please, and brimming with affection — sometimes forgetting her manners in her excitement. Her interactions with other dogs have been fantastic; she is playful, submissive, and just wants to make friends.
Squeak has not met cats yet. Given her friendly but enthusiastic nature, she may be a little overwhelming at first for feline friends. She also hasn’t spent time with young children; while she is gentle, she can be jumpy and would be better suited to a home with older kids.
Personality and Training: Squeak has a lovely energy level — playful and active but not over the top. She hasn't spent much time indoors yet but understands to use the lawn for toileting. She happily shares her food and toys, showing no signs of resource guarding.
Still displaying some normal puppy mouthiness, Squeak will benefit from ongoing positive training and guidance. She is highly perceptive and wants to please, making her a fast learner. Squeak walks well on a lead, not pulling, although she can be a little timid around sudden noises.
She has shown no interest in escaping and is happiest with a doggy companion at her side.
Ideal Home: Squeak would love a home with:
A playful doggy friend
A secure yard where she can run and explore
A family willing to continue her training and support her as she grows
Older children who can enjoy her playful nature
If you’re seeking a sweet, gentle, and smart young dog who will reward your love with loyalty and affection, Squeak might just be the one!

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
