Elsa

Elsa is a beautiful and tiny girl who needs a very special home. She is exceptionally sweet and as a princess she believes she is entitled to your sofa, your lap, your bed, and your heart. Once she knows you, she will leap into any of these without hesitation. She likes nothing better than snuggling up to you and letting you pamper her by stroking her soft tummy and velvety ears. Once you are hers, she will follow you everywhere but she is not an attention seeker and will happily lie near you quietly if you need to work from home.

She is very nervous on walks and will need to stay on lead because she will bolt at the slightest provocation. She is FAST! She is so frightened of new people, new dogs, bikes, prams and the like that she is reluctant to toilet on her walks, so she will need a secure garden to do her business and to explore while feeling safe. This extremely smart girl will work out where she is allowed to toilet after a few days of praise for doing it in the right place.

Elsa has lived with another small dog and fostered with a larger one but while she is generally very friendly and calm with dogs she knows, she has been known to resource guard. She has snapped at a dog interested in her toy and fought strongly for possession of a lap she feels is hers by right. She has been known to chase cats and her breed is an excellent hunter of small animals, so a pet free home would be best. She has lived with children but they need to be calm and understanding.

As she is only 3 years old and could well live to a long age, please consider your own future ability to look after her for another 15 years before applying. She will definitely appear magically under your feet without notice so if tripping over her is a serious safety concern then Elsa is not for you.
