About Bert - 14 Week Old Mixed Breed
Meet Bert aka Bertie Beetle, tipping the scales at 2.3kg he is just about the cutest pocket size pup you’ll meet.
Bert is the tiny timid cutie ready to steal your heart and your bed he is an adorable, smart, timid yet playful 14- week-old small breed puppy. Bursting with love and becoming curious about the world, Bert is sure to bring cuddles, smooches, fun, love and laughter to your home.
While he is flourishing with his foster family and foster fur siblings, Bert is now ready to find a caring family to call his very own.
Always up for a snuggle and loves being near you. Bert is very clever and am making great strides with basic commands and can already sit!! He’s a very good listener and is food driven so will be easy to train. Bert is still getting the hang of toilet training but he does sleep all night. He doesn’t mind sleeping in his own bed, although we are sure he would prefer to sleep with you if you don't mind.
Bert is looking for a family that can continue to guide him with patience to help him grow in confidence and reach his full potential. He’ll be also eager to check out puppy training classes to kickstart his doggy career. As Bert wasn’t socialised before coming into care he needs a family ready to introduce him slowly to new things in a positive way.
Bert loves to play, bounce and explore, whether it's rummaging through the basket of toys or going for a romp outside, he especially loves to watch butterflies, ants or anything fun that comes his way. As a tiny pup, Bert will need a secure yard where he can explore and chase toys or just bask in the sun. He is always up for a cuddle and will need daily exercise and a steady supply of toys and enrichment activities to keep him mentally stimulated, healthy and happy.
Bert loves people and other dogs, he finds comfort in their company so will do well with another calm and kind doggy sibling to play with and learn from. Nobody too boisterous given his tiny size.
Bert has started his fresh food feeding journey in foster care he loves food and would love to continue eating nutritionally balanced fresh food for his lifetime to make sure he stays healthy and grows strong.
