About VJ - 9 Year Old Maltese X Shih Tzu
VJ is a gentle and affectionate companion. VJ enjoys being close and will happily curl up beside you on the couch.
During walks, he remains calm and steady, showing he’s not an overly active dog but still likes his daily stroll.
VJ interacts well with children, though he seems most at ease in a quiet, settled environment. He would suit a retired couple, ideally with visiting grandchildren.
Since his little dog friend passed, we have noticed he may enjoy the company of another small dog.
He manages a grass allergy well with his medication. He’s quiet, not a barker, and is calm in the car - just a bit shy and prefers to sit quietly until it’s time to get out.
When greeted at home, VJ shows excitement, and has so much love to give to his forever family, could this be you?
His toilet training is ongoing, and is making good progress, especially since he was an outside dog for 9 years old. VJ is now happiest living indoors with regular access to outside. He has a soft low shedding coat that benefits from brushing and a trim to keep him comfy.
VJ is displaying a warm and trusting nature, and his confidence is growing each and every day with unconditional love.
VJ is in foster care in Aberdeen, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $400, and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
