MY PROFILE: Meet Della – A gentle blossoming soul🐾
Della, or 'Della Bella', is a beautiful grey and white tabby who was found living on the streets of Springvale. Since coming into foster care, she’s come a long way—slowly learning to trust and to very much enjoy the comforts of a safe, loving home!
While she can be a little wary at first, Della's confidence has grown every day. She enjoys a gentle stroke, soft words, and quiet companionship. She's not ready to be picked up but come dinner time she's a big show off and very smoochy on her terms. She's also very clever and incredibly responsive to her name.
She’s a calm and curious girl who just needs someone patient to help her continue her journey - especially if you’re offering some cheese! Yes, Della has developed quite the taste for cheese and is happy to be your snack-time sidekick - fancy blue, a french brie or a trusty cheddar.
She's MOSTLY moved on from her aeroplane ears but still has moments of RBF as you'll see! Haha
Della is happiest with another feline friend by her side and would need a home with ideally a friendly, confident cat to help her settle in. She has bonded amazingly with the other cats in foster care, especially our boys and would be a superb companion to an existing cat.
She’s also okay with gentle, cat-savvy dogs who respect her space.
Due to her sensitive nature, Della is not suited to homes with young children. She’s looking for a peaceful, stable environment where she can continue to grow and feel secure.
If you’re after a sweet, soft companion who just needs a little time and a lot of love, Della might be the one for you. From the streets to princess town, this girl is very special!

Our Adoption Fees are as follows:
· Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
· Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
· Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
· Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
This also includes:
· A take home pack for your kitty
· We transfer the Change of Ownership, free of charge into your name

Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
2. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we accept cash and Bank transfer.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
