Meet Toowoomba, a sweet 7-month-old Kelpie cross who, although small in size (only 11.5 kgs!), has a big heart ready for love.

While he might be a little shy and wary when first meeting new people and unfamiliar dogs, Toowoomba blossoms into a truly affectionate companion once he feels safe and secure. A resident mentor dog would be a great asset to boost his confidence and teach him the ropes. He would love a well-matched playmate.

This adorable little guy has already mastered the basics of crate training, toilet training, and even knows some basic commands like sit, down, and is doing great at learning to walk on a loose lead. He's a quick learner and is eager to please, especially when there's cheese involved!

Although Toowoomba hasn't been tested with cats or children in the home, he’s expressed gentle interest when out and about and is young enough to learn. With proper introduction and supervision, they could certainly become the best of friends.

As a Kelpie, Toowoomba is an active and intelligent breed. He'd thrive in a home with a family who can provide him with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He's still a young pup, so ongoing training and enrichment will help him grow into a well-adjusted adult dog.
