Medical Notes - Peeps has had some teeth removed, and will likely require another dental with us before she goes to her forever home.
Sweet mumma Peeps is ready to start looking for her perfect forever home. She came to us with her two kittens, and was scared but gentle. Peeps took a little while to settle in care, but has been doing well in her current foster home.
Peeps is searching for a quiet home free of children, where she can relax and start a bond with her new humans. Peeps would suit a home with another cat as long as they were respectful of her space.

If you would like to know more information about any of our rescue animals, our rescue group, or to arrange a meet and greet, please email us. Please provide us with your name, email address, contact number, and some information about yourself, and the home you have to offer one of our rescue animals.
About us:
Gary and the Handicats Rescue is run soley by a Vet Nurse who works shift work and also cares for sick and high needs rescue animals. We strive to get back to you within 24 hours, but during busy kitten seasons there may be a delay. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Please note we do not run on a "first in first served" basis. We screen applicants well before proceeding with adoption. Vet and rental references may be required for certain special needs adoptions.
We receive a large amount of interest in our handraised kittens, and certain special needs animals. Please understand that if you're application isn't successful, this may just be due to the amount of applications we have had for that particular animal, and not because of the home you have to offer. Preference is always given to our past adopters.
Meet and Greets:
• Meet and greets are held in an environment where the particular cat or kitten feels most comfortable.
• Please do not bring your own animals to a meet and greet.
• We do not allow any of our animals to be taken home on the day of the meet and greet. Special circumstances may be considered.
Picking up you're new family member:
• You MUST bring a safe, secure, and size appropriate carrier for your baby to travel home in. We do not have carriers to provide new adopters, and we will not send home one of our rescue animals in a cardboard box or a washing basket. If a carrier isn't able to be provided, your adoption will be cancelled.
