Meet Serene, a sweet and affectionate lady who loves nothing more than to be by your side. Are you an equestrian? Serene will sit by the arena and watch you practice. Do you hit the gym? She will help you count your reps. Do you need a friend who will always approve of your playlists? Serene is just happy to be invited (she loves the 80s though).

Serene had a bit of a rocky start to life, but she adjusted well in foster care, proven to be an easy going dog. She is a one person dog, who will develop a deep connection with her chosen human. For this lucky individual she will have an unlimited amount of tail wags, snuggles and kisses. And for the rest of the world? I guess a pat here or a scratch there is okay, but let’s not get carried away.

For this reason, Serene is only suited to a home where this is understood and respected or where the prospective owners are committed to continue working with her to help build her confidence with people other than her chosen person.

Serene is happy to be crated, sleeps through the night and will ask to be let out when she needs to go. She has been learning commands like “sit”, “come” and “look at me” and she would love her future person to continue with her education. She is respectful of your house and yard and happily snoozes all day, if you promise to involve her in everything that you do once you are back from work.

She is an amazing dog with a big heart, who will make someone very happy.
