Lumey - Located in Templestowe

He came from the street, small and fast, with eyes like gold coins in the sun. He did not ask for much, only food and a warm place to curl his tail. But when the toys came, he gave them everything. He was full of spirit. He ran and jumped and chased. He climbed. He wrestled shadows and made war with string. He played like a lion born too small.

In the quiet moments, he came close. Climbed into laps and onto shoulders, purring like the sea in a shell. He liked to be held, though sometimes the new height showed him things he needed to see, and he had to go. But he always came back. He liked people. That surprised him.

He is still young. Still learning that hands can be kind. But he learns fast. Brave little Lumey.

He is looking for a place where he can run and climb and nap in peace. Where the sun pours onto the floor and the windows show birds. A home that will let him be wild and gentle all at once. He will give you all he has. Which is everything.
