Hi, we’re Macadamia and Cashew, pleased to meet you!

🌰I’m Macadamia, and I’m the easygoing one. I’m friendly, relaxed, and completely unbothered by just about anything. I’m almost always purring, love being picked up, and I am happiest when I’m quietly exploring or enjoying a sunny nap. I can entertain myself with just about anything—sometimes it might even look like I’m playing with my imagination! I bring a calm, joyful energy wherever I go.

🥜 I’m Cashew! I’m the curious, high-energy brother. I might take a few days to build trust, but once I do, I’ll be your full-time sidekick. I’m affectionate, chatty, and full of personality (and I LOVE to purrrr!). I’m very food-oriented and will definitely let you know when it’s mealtime; I’ll even chirp back when you talk to me. I especially love affection from my favourite person and have really come out of my shell in foster care with kids and other cats.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We’re closely bonded brothers and truly bring out the best in each other. I (Macadamia) give Cashew confidence and help him feel safe, while he brings the fun, curiosity, and playful energy. We love to chase, wrestle, and spend our time together, so we must be adopted as a pair, our bond is a big part of our happiness.

We’re currently living with another friendly two-year-old male cat, and we get along well. A calm home with older children or adults who understand gentle interactions would suit us best.

Likes / Dislikes
✅ Playing chase and roughhousing together
✅ Interactive play and anything that moves or flies (and cardboard is great too!)
✅ Mealtime (especially for Cashew!)
✅ “Talking” with our humans
✅ Finding random objects to play with (Macadamia’s specialty)

❌ Loud noises and sudden movements at first while we settle in (Cashew here—but I’m getting used to things like the vacuum!)
❌ Chaotic or unpredictable environments

Our PURR-fect home would be calm, loving, and patient. We want somewhere we can continue to grow in confidence together. Our future family should enjoy interactive play, chatting with their cats, and watching a special bonded pair thrive. In return, we’ll give you the perfect mix of playful energy and laid-back affection—two brothers whose connection makes us truly special.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
