Paddy is going to be a lovely gentle dog. He is a sooky boy who is so sweet and kind natured, and loves cuddles. He would be cuddled all day if he could! He likes to have a good chat with his people. Paddy would sir someone around a lot at least while he's young. He will make the best company ever!
Paddy is fostered in a busy family home and is great with the kids and the dog. He's a little unsure about the cats so far: more scared of them than anything; they are clearly a new thing for him.
Paddy is a little timid but is gaining confidence to try new things. He will benefit from owners who will give him a little time to come fully out of his shell but also encourage him to get out into the big wide world and have positive experiences. We strongly recommend training classes where he will meet other dogs and people in a really positive way so he will gain confidence and trust.
So far Paddy has just slept for car rides; he's very relaxed in the car. He has learnt basic commands like sitting before every meal and has been giving tug of war a go with his doggy buddy.
Paddy is a beautiful boy and is looking for a wonderful family to cherish him. Could that be you?
Before applying for a puppy, please remember that adopting a pup into your home is a huge commitment. Puppies require daily exercise, positive and varied socialisation, grooming, training and playtime. When applying, please consider your work hours, holidays, and how busy your personal life is. Puppies will need someone who is home for most of the day with regular focused input, especially in those first six months after adoption.
MEDICAL NOTES
