Meet Barney – Your Future Cuddle Buddy for Life! 🧡🐾
Say hello to Barney, the most lovable champagne ginger kitten you’ll ever meet! With fur as soft as a cloud and a heart as warm as the sun, Barney is the ultimate snuggler. Whether it’s curling up in your lap, snoozing by your side at bedtime, or following you around just to be near you, Barney lives to love and be loved.
This confident little guy is bursting with personality – playful, adventurous, and always up for a good romp with his kitty pals or a game of chase-the-toy. But once the zoomies are out of his system? It’s cuddle time. Pat him once and you’ll be rewarded with his endless purr, a soothing soundtrack to your every moment together.
Barney would thrive in a home where he has both fun and affection – he’s a social butterfly who just wants to be part of everything you do. Whether you're working from home, watching TV, or winding down for the night, he’ll be right there, your loyal and loving shadow.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
