Lola - 1 Year Old Cattle Dog X Staffy

Meet Lola! 🐾

Lola is an 18 month old Cattle Dog X and is so full of fun and love, and is just itching for someone to share it with!

Lola LOVES playing fetch, and will go all day if you let her. She’s a pro at finding the ball and will always bring it back and drop it right at your feet. She is super food motivated, and loves sitting and shaking your hand for a treat.

We call Lola the jack of all trades at the shelter, because she has SO many tricks down pat! Lola loves to please her people and will showcase all her fancy tricks if you let her. So what tricks does Lola actually know? She knows…
- Sit
- Shake
- Stay
- Come
- Spin
- On your bed
- Middle (in between your legs)
- Up (to jump onto a bed/in a car)
- And of course she is 100% toilet trained!!

Lola loves exploring so needs secure fencing. She also has a high prey drive and is not suitable in a home with pocket pets or cats.

Due to an unknown history, Lola isn’t really keen on children, so kids over 10 years old are best. She also has some fear around thunderstorms and unknown places/sounds, so will need someone patient to take her under their wing.

Lola has recently made some great steps forward and is loving playing with suitable doggy buddies at the shelter. So, we would call Lola ‘dog selective’ but able to be rehomed to a home with a suitable doggy of the same energy level and size.

She walks well on lead but can be a bit stubborn, especially surrounding ‘scary’ new things. She will need continual training for her lead manners and for reactions to other dogs in public.

Lola travels beautifully in the car and loves to have a good nap whilst you're driving around. She also ADORES toys of all kinds! Give Lola a ball, a squeaky toy, a fluffy toy or a rope and she’ll be happy forever.

Lola can take a bit longer than some dogs to really settle in a home, but once she knows you, she is incredibly loyal and a fantastic companion.

Lola is in foster care in Metford, NSW. The adoption fee is $500, and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
