NEEDING A SPECIAL FAMILY

Superior Winston is a sweet and lovely pup who is looking for a special family that has experience with rescue dogs as he is very nervous around new people. He will need a family that has patience and understands that he needs time to trust humans before he can relax and be his true, cuddly, funny, quirky self.

Superior Winston absolutely needs to be adopted into a home that has a resident dog as he thrives in the company of dogs and takes his cues from them. He watches and learns and trusts the dogs he lives with and hence, learns to trust his humans too.

Superior Winston currently resides with a female, 6 year old, Great Dane cross, who is the queen of our household. He adores her and covers her face and ears in lovely licks and doggy kisses. We also have a 3 year old cattle dog who is the crazy uncle to all our fosters and lets Superior Winston wrestle and chase him. Whilst he has been in our care, we have looked after several other dogs and Superior Winston has been social and accepting of them all. They have loved to play all together and then sleep together in one giant dog heap. They are outside during the day whilst we are at work, but when we are home, Superior Winston loves to be inside.

Inside the house, Superior Winston becomes a different dog. He will snuggle into you on the couch, let you cuddle him and rub his ears and eat food out of your hands. These milestones indicate that once his barriers are down, he will become a beautiful and loyal family pet. He is toilet trained and walks well on the leash.
