NOTE: You are unable to meet Milton until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Milton in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• I have previously lived with young children
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years
• I LOVE other dogs but I'm a very energetic and playful dog, so I need a doggy playmate who will match my energy levels and playfulness.
• I LOVE water and would love to have my very own clam pool to laze around in.

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I can sit, shake hands & stay
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch
• I LOVE the water and will splash about in my water bowl, play with the hose and swim in the basin/river
• I love toys especially my ball, playing fetch and tug rope

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am scared of thunder/fireworks, whip cracking or extremely loud noises and will bark & whine and attempt to escape. I will require a safe space to retreat to during these events as well as comfort and reassurance from my family.

AN ADOPTION CAN'T BE APPROVED IF YOU HAVE CANNOT COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET MILTON IN PERSON.

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET MILTON BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
