Meet Mimi, a once-confident sweetheart who's still finding her way back to herself.
Mimi is a gentle little cat who we remember as a bright, affectionate, and confident girl during her time with us- the kind of kitten who was curious, engaged, and happy to be part of everything going on. After being adopted and then sadly returned through no fault of her own, Mimi has come back to us a much more reserved version of herself. She's withdrawn into her shell and is taking her time to feel safe again in the world around her. Even so, there are still little glimpses of the confident, loving personality she once showed, reminding us that she's still in there, just waiting for the right environment to reappear.

Mimi now needs a calm, patient, and deeply understanding home that will give her the space and time she needs to rebuild her trust and confidence. She won't blossom overnight, but with gentle consistency, kindness, and a quiet routine, she has every chance of rediscovering the sweet, affectionate cat she used to be. She would thrive in a stable environment where she is not rushed, but instead allowed to come forward on her own terms.

Mimi is ready for her second chance at feeling safe enough to shine again, all she needs is someone willing to wait for her.
