About Toffee
***** To apply for Toffee please visit www.animalrescue.org.au to complete the Adoption Enquiry Form *****
Toffee is a very special boy as he is deaf. He is just as loving and playful as his sister but has his own unique charm and resilience that makes him truly special.
Adopting a deaf dog can present challenges but it will also be incredibly rewarding. You will have the satisfaction of knowing you have made a significant difference in his life, helping him overcome obstacles and to thrive as your very special dog. Toffee will learn to communicate through visual signals, touch and other non-verbal cues, making your relationship with him truly special.
We would love Toffee to be adopted into a home with another friendly canine companion whom he can bond with. He will need secure fencing also. Experience with a deaf dog would be beneficial but not necessary as there are many training tools out there for you to utilise.
Toffee is a sweet boy, quiet and loving. He loves exploring in the garden and is happy to be outside during the day. Toffee should also be fine with children.
Toffee is microchipped, C5 vaccinated and will be desexed at six months, which is covered in his adoption fee.
Medical notes
Toffee does appear to be deaf but otherwise is in good health.
