About Eric
Eric, aka "The Viking," is not your average cat. With his striking grey and white fur coat that might remind you of stormy seas and snowy mountains, this brave and battle-hardened feline is on a quest: to pillage your heart and claim it as his own. A true warrior of affection, Eric is ready to conquer your home, steal all your love, and leave you with nothing but adoration and respect.
Eric's spirit is as bold as the Viking ships he surely once sailed upon, and he's as fearless as any true Norse hero. His adventurous nature means that no corner of the house is too mysterious, and no spot too hidden for him to explore. Whether he's climbing to new heights or finding creative ways to sneak into your lap, Eric will never stop searching for the next opportunity to share his devotion.
But don't let his rough exterior fool you-while Eric might look like a cat who's ready to raid and plunder, he's truly all about loyalty. He will follow you from room to room, ensuring that no battle goes fought alone. He'll be by your side through thick and thin, offering warmth and companionship when you least expect it.
Eric's boldness knows no bounds. Whether it's trying new foods, navigating the chaotic whirlwind of daily life, or introducing himself to new family members, he does it with the courage of a thousand Vikings. He faces each new challenge head-on.
When Eric walks into a room, you'll know it-his presence demands attention, and you can bet your sword and shield that you'll be showered in his affection. He's the captain of his ship (aka your home), and you're the first mate.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
