Minx

Minx is a beautiful 3-year-old Sarplaninac with a heart as beautiful as her gorgeous coat. While she may not have had the love she deserved early in life, she's a sweet and happy girl who is ready to find a forever home that understands her quiet and gentle self, older kids preferable to younger ones.

Initially a little shy, Minx warms up to her people and is playful and affectionate once she feels safe. Minx is great with other dogs and would love a playful doggy companion in her new home. If not, someone who will commit to daily exercise and playtime is required.

Although a Guardian Breed, she doesn't show many of these breed traits so provided she has a decent sized yard she doesn't necessarily require a rural home (however inner-city suburbs would be too overwhelming for her). She does require a large space with secure fencing of at least 6ft. She's not a big barker during the day but does tend to bark at night-time sounds so she's best to sleep indoors to avoid this. She's very healthy, quite small for a Sarplaninac (25 kg) and travels like a dream in the car. She is crate trained and house trained.
