About Lukas
Meet Lukas - A One-of-a-Kind Pup Looking for His Forever Home
At just 10 months old, Lukas has already shown he's more than just a handsome face (though let's be honest-those soulful eyes are impossible to resist). A striking blend of intelligence and energy, Lukas carries the cleverness and spirited nature of his mixed breeding. He's a bright young pup, eager to learn, please, and thrive in the right environment.
Lukas is a quick study who just needs a little guidance, and you'll need a pocket full of treats to help him learn. His enthusiasm for life is contagious, and with the right person by his side, he's bound to blossom into the most loyal of companions.
While Lukas's cheeky nature means he is better suited to older kids, he may be open to sharing his new family with a well-mannered, calm dog who can help show him the ropes. He's looking for someone with a kind heart, and a whole lot of love to give.
This boy has already been through more than most puppies his age, but he hasn't let it dull his spirit. With the right home, he'll reward his new people with devotion, laughs, and the kind of companionship that only a dog like Lukas can offer.
So, if you're ready for a pup who's got more pep in his step than a hip-hop headliner, and enough intelligence and heart to fill a stadium-Lukas might just be your guy.
Come meet Lukas today and see for yourself why he's truly one out of the box.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
