Meet Shumba
A bouncy ball of energy, full of love, cheekiness and a good dose of silliness.

Shumba has been a delight to foster. Fine home alone when the humans are at work. House trained. Fairly non-destructive (except for the odd sock and all of his toys), dog friendly, loves kids and will usually obey commands eventually, if you ask a couple of times and offer a treat.

Full of life and somewhat eager to learn new things. Shumba is an energiser bunny, so will be suited to a household where he’ll get plenty of exercise (he currently gets 5km a day). He’s lead etiquette has improved in leaps and bounds, but he will benefit from ongoing training. He’s been learning doorway boundaries while in care, but will make a dash for the door if not watched - he just wants to explore the world! He will need recall training if his new owners want him to be an off lead dog.

He loves kids, but being a bouncy boy, may be a bit much for really little kids. He’s not been tested with cats, but has been extremely interested when he’s spotted them on walks, so will suit a home free of cats and pocket pets.

This sweet boy will make the perfect addition to an active household and can’t wait to meet you!
