Genevieve had a hard start to life and is very shy around new people so she will need some patience and lots of treats to gain her trust, but once you pass that bridge she is very loving and affectionate and a wonderful cuddly companion dog.

Genevieve’s ideal home will have a good sized backyard with high fences.

She is toilet trained and never had an accident in the house.

Genevieve is an energetic dog and loves going on walks and she absolutely loves seeing other dogs and gets along with every dog we meet along the way, as well as other dogs that we have fostered here that have really brought out her playfulness.

She will however avoid people who don’t have a dog, so I’m walking her around busy areas to get her more used to passing people in hopes that one day she will be able to walk around fearless and carefree.

She is very nice to walk with and she doesn’t pull on the lead.

She knows a few basic commands like sit, and stay and she is very clever and has potential to learn more.
