Meet Cashew! She might have a tough shell, but inside she's all soft, sweet, and totally worth cracking open your heart for. When she first arrived at the shelter with her sibling, Cashew was very worried - but with a little time and a lot of love, she's been slowly coming out of her shell and learning to love human affection.

She's still a bit shy, but here's the trick: back scratches. Give her a nice slow scratch and BOOM-instant noodle cat! She'll arch into your hand like a pro and soak up all the love like she's been waiting for it her whole life. She is also becoming curious with toys, and would love her forever family to continue showing her the ropes to play time!
Cashew loves her feline friends and would be open to a home with another feline to lean on, cuddle and play with.

Cashew would thrive in a calm, quiet home with older children who can understand her need for space at times and allow her to settle into the home at her own pace.
