About Milo
Say hello to Milo!
A lively little character with a heart full of joy and a cheeky sparkle in his eyes. With his fluffy coat, bright personality, and boundless energy, Milo is a bundle of fun just waiting to bring laughter and love into the right home.
Milo is a Japanese Spitz crossed with a Pomeranian - a delightful combo that means he's not just adorable, but also smart, social, and full of personality. He thrives on human interaction and loves being part of the action. Whether it's chasing his favourite toy around the living room or heading out for an adventure-filled walk, Milo is always up for a good time!
Milo is a clever boy who enjoys staying mentally and physically stimulated. Puzzle toys, training games, sniffy walks, and interactive play sessions are right up his alley. He would love a family that's not only active but also enjoys including their dog in everyday life and routines. Milo would particularly benefit from ongoing enrichment to keep his sharp little mind engaged-think treat-dispensing toys, learning new tricks, or even trying beginner agility or scent work!
Daily walks are a must for this energetic fluffball-he has plenty of pep in his step and enjoys exploring the world around him. While he's happy to chill out after a good bit of exercise, Milo is not the type to be left bored or under-stimulated. Milo could potentially live with another calm, friendly dog, pending a successful introduction. He enjoys canine company but also likes his own space, so a respectful housemate would be ideal.
Due to his bouncy and sometimes cheeky nature, Milo is best suited to a home with children aged 10 and up who can interact with him calmly and respectfully. He can be a little whirlwind of fun, so older kids who understand dog boundaries would be a great match.
That gorgeous coat doesn't stay that way on its own! As a Japanese Spitz x Pomeranian, Milo has a fluffy double coat that requires regular grooming to keep it clean, healthy, and mat-free. This means brushing several times a week (daily during shedding season), as well as occasional professional grooms. Milo will need a family committed to his grooming needs-not just for his looks, but also for his comfort and wellbeing.
Milo is looking for a committed, loving home that understands the needs of an intelligent, energetic small breed. He'll thrive with people who are present, involved, and dedicated to helping him live his best life-not just through love and cuddles, but also through structure, enrichment, and care.
He may be small, but Milo is a big personality in a little package. He's ready to be someone's shadow, sidekick, and adventure buddy.
