About Skyla
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A family situation where people are home more often than not
- Children over the age of 12
Skyla is a bright, bubbly greyhound who’s ready to be your new best friend. She’s affectionate, playful, and loves being around people – her happy energy is truly contagious!
She enjoys her daily walks and would be a great match for someone active. She’s also a pro at relaxing and will happily nap nearby while you work or unwind at home. Skyla adores cuddles, belly rubs, and will do a little “happy dance” when she’s excited!
Skyla would thrive in a home where people are around more often than not – she loves company and being part of the action. She’ll be best suited to a family with children aged 12 and up, where she can enjoy plenty of love, play, and gentle guidance. With her loving personality and cheeky charm, Skyla will quickly become the heart of your home!
Skyla is a loving, happy girl with a big heart and a bit of a goofy streak. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal companion who will fill your home with joy, Skyla might just be the one!

Adoption details
Step 1 – Complete an application form

Step 2 – If your circumstances suit a dog, we will call you for a chat to provide you with more information about the dog and answer any questions you may have. If you wish to proceed with the adoption we will arrange a time for a Meet & Greet and a home yard inspection to ensure adequate fencing and shelter is provided for the dog.
Step 3 - A meet and greet will be held with your family and any other pets you may have. All dogs are to be met in person.
Step 4 - If all parties are happy to proceed with the adoption, the adoption fee is to be paid and you will have a 14 day trial period. If at any time in that 14 days you find you cannot keep your dog, they can be returned to R2R and the adoption fee refunded less an admin fee.
At the time of adoption you will receive an adoption pack which will include:-
- Collar & Lead
- Muzzle
- Polar Fleece Coat
- Certificate of Sterilisation
- Certificate of Vaccination
- Information on caring for your greyhound
- Worming & Flea treatment dates
- Access to our private Facebook page for R2R Adopters and volunteers
